Jose Alberto Brazil Natural

$23.00

-This coffee is so good.

-It is so good.

-What do you get from it?

-Definitely blackberry syrup followed by cranberry.

-I get that too! I also get a really nice full body but without it being super dark and heavy, which can be typical of a lot of coffees that are bold and dark tending to lean and feel full and heavy. This one just feels like it carries all that sugar very well without being bright too lively like lighter roasts can be sometimes.  This is not your typical Brazil and I wish we could have gotten more than just one stack of the stuff! But while we have it, let's celebrate the farmer. Thank you Jose Alberto for a wonderful naturally processed coffee. P.s. it is a blend of 3 different varietals from the same farm…Catuai, Yellow Topazio, and Arara.

Jose has been farming since 1985; seeking a new challenge, he began growing coffee in 2016. With many resources available due to his location in the famed Cerrado growing region, he was able to select standout varieties and quickly achieve excellent results.

The Cerrado Mineiro presents a dry climate during the harvest period, which causes the coffee to suffer less from humidity after harvesting, allowing for a consistent drying process. The region, which covers 55 municipalities in total, achieved the Denomination of Origin in 2013, the first region in the country to receive this recognition.

This coffee will not be here long. Try it!
